Biography : Head Publicist/PR
Reyna Trevino, born and raised in Los Angeles, California – envisioned herself working in the entertainment industry. She began working on various independent contracts in event production and promotion, including major award shows in the Mainstream and Urban markets at a young age.
Reyna’s hard work and perseverance withstood the tedious steps of success and made an impression upon very key individuals who would help launch Reyna’s career in Public Relations. In 1997, while Reyna was working on independent projects, she was referred by publicist friend to RMM/ Universal. She was offered the position of west coast publicist. She accepted the position as an opportunity to advance herself as a young minority female and to expand her possibilities in the Entertainment Industry.
Soon after leaving RMM/Universal Music Group, Reyna decided to open her own PR firm which she headed up with one of the biggest boy group’s of time “Boyz II Men”, which then followed with various major accounts.
Reyna has helped fuel a new phenomenon in booking minority talent on mainstream television talk shows. She has had measured success in booking talent on major award shows and TV shows. She also moved quickly to capitalize her business contacts to benefit from the new mainstream appreciation of Latino and Urban talent.
From 1998 until now, Reyna Trevino has attained most of her clients by word of mouth and her company continues to grow as she applies her expertise in various markets. Her clients have included artists and companies such as Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Marc Anthony, The Alma Awards, Tyrese Gibson, Destiny’s Child, Ne-Yo, Chrysler, City of Hope Gala Awards and many more.
Reyna Trevino succeeds in providing marketing, publicity, event and talent coordinating services, and label consulting services in the Urban, Mainstream, and Latin Markets.
Reyna currently also opened her own record label which is being distributed through Universal Music Distribution/Ingrooves and also has also opened a film /video production company, which also has a distribution deal through Universal and Vivendi.
