Biography
SAM BLANCHARD is a Los Angeles based songwriter, vocalist, and vocal producer transplanted by way of the deep south, heard recently on the album EYE LEGACY – the posthumous release from Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of famed girl group TLC. Under the guidance of record producer Andrew Lane (High School Musical, Hannah Montana), Sam has worked alongside industry greats John Legend, Will. i. Am, the late “Static” Major, Latin superstar Noelia and many others. In the summer of 2010, Sam branched out on her own and opened The Sambalaya Shoppe – a boutique vocal studio offering an array of production services to producers and composers around the world. Having played nearly every role in the recording studio – be it artist, producer, or even engineer, her knowledge of the music business belies her only 21 years of age. With a wide range of creativity that spans nearly every genre, a strong intellect, and an uncanny ability to sing like “just about anyone”, Sam Blanchard is quickly becoming one of the music industry’s most sought after go-to-girls on the other side of the glass.
